Getting Started

How do I customize a product?

Order any item labeled Custom. After checkout, that design automatically unlocks on your Dashboard where you can submit your personalization details.

Where do I submit my changes?

Inside your Dashboard. Each purchased design has its own post with a form and instructions. Just fill it out — no emails required.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Your Dashboard connects to your Geekists account, so make sure you’re logged in to view your unlocked designs and approvals.


Personalization & Design

What can I change?

Most Customize Me! items support:

  • Names or custom text
  • Color tweaks
  • Small layout adjustments
  • Special notes or ideas

Have something unique in mind? Ask — we love nerdy, clever requests.

Can I upload references or instructions?

Yes! Use the form fields to describe your idea. Clear instructions help us nail your mockup faster.

How many revisions do I get?

Reasonable edits are always included. We’ll work with you until it looks right before production.


Mockups & Approvals

How long do mockups take?

Usually 1–3 business days. We post preview images directly on your Dashboard for approval.

Do you print before I approve?

Never. Nothing prints without your approval. You’re always in control.

How do I approve or request changes?

Open your Artwork Approval post and use the approval form to:

  • Approve instantly
  • Request edits
  • Leave comments
  • Pause or cancel your order

Production & Shipping

When does production start?

Right after you approve your artwork. That’s when printing begins.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive within 3–8 days total (production + shipping). You’ll receive tracking like any other Geekists order.

Where are products made?

Our distribution centers print and ship from locations close to you to keep delivery fast and reduce waste.


Orders & Changes

Can I cancel?

Yes — cancel anytime before production for a full refund.

What if I don’t respond to approval requests?

If we don’t hear back within 14 days, your order is automatically canceled and refunded.

Can I place multiple custom orders?

Absolutely. Each order unlocks its own Dashboard post. More orders = more customization fun.

  • Managing custom orders

I don’t see my design on the Dashboard. Why?

Make sure you’re logged into the same account used for checkout. If it’s still missing, contact us and we’ll fix it fast.
